Rana Sanaullah has made "shocking revelations" about the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).

Rana Sanaullah has accused the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) of spreading false propaganda concerning the alleged attack on politician Chaudhry Latif Akbar.

Chaudhry Latif Akbar has reportedly claimed that workers of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) attacked him.

AJK Prime Minister Faisal Rathore has reportedly taken notice of the alleged attack on politician Chaudhry Latif Akbar.

Senior Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) leader Qamar Zaman Kaira has alleged that party leader Chaudhry Latif Akbar was attacked during the second phase of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) elections, and further claimed that a PPP worker had been killed. Speaking at a press conference, Kaira stated that Latif Akbar was targeted in his constituency. He also accused polling staff of arriving late at many polling stations and alleged that in some areas, polling personnel were taken away by supporters of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) to stamp ballot papers. Kaira further claimed that election materials failed to reach three union councils in LA-28, and polling in LA-27 was affected by rainfall. Questioning the credibility of the electoral process, Kaira warned that a government formed through disputed elections would face questions over its legitimacy, asserting that the PPP believes the AJK elections had been "taken away" from the party.

Earlier, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari called on the Election Commission to take immediate action regarding alleged electoral irregularities during the second phase of the AJK elections. He reiterated that the Election Commission had failed to address the party’s complaints regarding the first phase, and timely action could have helped restore the credibility of the second phase. Bilawal stated that the PPP reserves the right to stage protests and demand re-polling if the reported irregularities are not addressed, adding that the party had already submitted multiple written complaints alleging ballot stuffing and the unlawful removal of its polling agents.

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Qamar Zaman Kaira has reportedly made strong remarks against the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) concerning the incident involving Chaudhry Latif Akbar.

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Raja Pervez Ashraf has stated that politician Chaudhry Latif Akbar himself confirmed he was attacked. This statement comes amidst earlier denials from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) regarding their involvement in the incident, which they described as a family dispute.
