Pakistani documentary ‘The Emergency Exit’ wins award in Nepal
Pakistani documentary “The Emergency Exit,” co-directed by filmmakers Mahnoor Batool and Shah Nawaz Ahmed Khan, has won the prestigious “Spirit of Doc Lab Award” at the Kathmandu Doc Lab in Nepal.
The film, created by the two filmmakers from Parachinar, focuses on the themes of human struggle and perseverance in the face of uncertain daily circumstances.
“The Emergency Exit” was the only project selected from Pakistan to participate in the event. It was one of four award winners, with the other three accolades going to films from India. The competition also included projects from Nepal, Bhutan, and Bangladesh.
