Kuwait’s Ministry of Defence announced its forces destroyed 13 ballistic missiles and 17 drones during Iranian attacks early Wednesday. The strikes, which Iran claimed were retaliation against American military bases in the region, also targeted Bahrain.
Debris from the intercepted projectiles fell in residential areas. The attack on Kuwait International Airport resulted in the death of one Indian citizen and left at least 63 people, including passengers and employees, injured.
