Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi Holds Key Security Meetings in Tehran

Reports have emerged suggesting a Pakistani delegation may be arriving in Tehran today to facilitate negotiations between the United States and Iran.

According to one report, a US official acknowledged that Pakistan is playing a commendable role as a mediator and that a delegation was expected to arrive for talks. The official noted there have been positive signals for an agreement and that efforts are underway.

However, a conflicting report citing Arab media has claimed that a key Pakistani personality will not be visiting Iran today. This follows earlier speculation from the US official about the potential for such a visit to advance the diplomatic process.
