Petrol has been cut by Rs 2.20 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs 327.62, while high-speed diesel (HSD) is down by Rs 1.50 to Rs 380.86 per litre. These new prices are effective from August 8 to 10, 2026. Previously, petrol saw a reduction of Rs 3.19 and diesel by Rs 1.50. Cumulatively, petrol prices have decreased by Rs 5.39 and diesel by Rs 3.00 over two days. The government is also planning a daily pricing mechanism, which the All Pakistan Dealers Association has rejected.
