EU Foreign Affairs Representative Kaja Kallas on Official Visit to Pakistan

Upon her arrival in Islamabad, European Union Representative Kaja Kallas described Pakistan as a “major regional power and an important partner for the European Union.” In a social media post, she noted the significance of her visit, stating it comes at a time when “the world and this region have experienced profound changes.”

The EU delegation, led by Kallas, is in Pakistan for meetings with high-level government officials, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with visiting EU Vice President Kaja Kallas, where he expressed satisfaction with the eighth round of the Pakistan-EU Strategic Dialogue and reiterated Pakistan’s desire to strengthen its multi-faceted partnership with the bloc.
