Upon her arrival in Islamabad, European Union Representative Kaja Kallas described Pakistan as a “major regional power and an important partner for the European Union.” In a social media post, she noted the significance of her visit, stating it comes at a time when “the world and this region have experienced profound changes.”

The EU delegation, led by Kallas, is in Pakistan for meetings with high-level government officials, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar.
