Deputy PM Ishaq Dar Holds Telephone Call with Bahrain’s Foreign Minister

During the call, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Bahrain’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, discussed the regional situation following the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

Dr. Al Zayani congratulated Pakistan on the signing of the MoU and praised the country’s constructive role. He expressed hope that the agreement would contribute to lasting peace and stability in the region.

The Bahraini Foreign Minister also indicated he plans to visit Pakistan soon to thank Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Ishaq Dar, and other relevant leaders for their role in the ceasefire. For his part, Mr. Dar reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to peace, dialogue, and diplomacy, stating that the country would continue its efforts to promote stability within the region and beyond.
