PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, addressing a rally in Shigar on Monday, stated that any potential constitutional amendments must protect the rights of Gilgit-Baltistan.

He further demanded that to advance the region’s struggle for its “right of rule” (haq-i-hakimiyat), general elections in Gilgit-Baltistan should be held at the same time as those in the rest of Pakistan.
