Pakistan tops EU’s Erasmus+ scholarship program for fifth straight year

For the fifth consecutive year, Pakistan has secured the top global position in the European Union’s prestigious Erasmus+ scholarship program. This year, 98 Pakistani students have been awarded fully-funded scholarships to study in Europe.

The EU announced a total of 1,872 scholarships worldwide under its flagship program for the current cycle. Pakistani students received the highest number of awards among all participating nations.

Following Pakistan, Bangladesh ranked second with 80 scholarships, while India was third with 75. The United States and Italy secured the fourth and fifth spots with 68 and 67 scholarships, respectively. The consistent success is also credited to the efforts of the Pakistani embassy in Brussels in promoting academic cooperation.
