In Lahore, the main Shabih-e-Zuljinah procession, which originated from Nisar Haveli, is proceeding along its traditional route towards its conclusion at Karbala Gamay Shah. A central majlis was held at Nishtar Park in Karachi before the main procession began its journey towards Imam Bargah Hussainian Iranian in Kharadar.

In Quetta, the main procession emerged from Imam Bargah Hussaini Sadat on Alamdar Road. Available reports indicate it includes 35 different groups. Meanwhile, in Rajanpur, authorities announced plans for 67 majalis and 51 processions for the day.

To ensure security, mobile and internet services have been suspended in sensitive areas across the country, and Section 144, which bans the display of weapons, has been imposed along procession routes.
