The funeral prayer for Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, is scheduled to be held on July 5, according to reports from July 4.
The city of Tehran is reportedly in a state of mourning following the leader’s death. In scenes from the capital, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament was seen breaking down emotionally beside Ayatollah Khamenei’s coffin.
