An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Tuesday sent a suspect in the murder case of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Group Captain Asim Tariq to Adiala Jail on a 14-day judicial remand.

In a hearing on Monday, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Islamabad remanded the suspect, identified as Saad Abbasi, to a 14-day judicial lock-up to facilitate an identification parade. The case was heard by ATC Judge Abual Hasanat Mohammad Zulqarnain.
During the proceedings, the investigating officer stated the identification parade was essential for the investigation. Prosecutor Raja Naveed informed the court that two eyewitnesses would participate in the process. When questioned by the judge, Abbasi claimed he was with a woman when the officer began interfering. The judge rejected this explanation. The court ordered the suspect to be produced again on July 20.
