The decision affects the boards of Kohat, Peshawar, Mardan, Swat, Malakand, and Abbottabad. The postponement has been attributed to the prevailing situation in the province due to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) long march and related road closures, as well as a security situation in Bannu.
