Six BLA Militants Killed in Balochistan Intelligence Operation

RAWALPINDI – Security forces killed six terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Panjgur district of Balochistan on the night of June 3-4, the military’s media wing announced.

The operation was launched based on intelligence reports confirming the presence of militants in the area. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces effectively engaged multiple terrorist locations. Following an intense exchange of fire, six terrorists were neutralized. The slain individuals were identified as members of the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), described as an Indian proxy.

A significant cache of weapons, ammunition, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and a vehicle were recovered from the deceased, who were reportedly involved in numerous terrorist activities in the region.

The ISPR stated that sanitization operations are underway to clear the area of any remaining terrorists. The statement reaffirmed that the relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the vision ‘Azm-e-Istehkam’ will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
