Severe Heatwave Grips Pakistan as Temperatures Soar Across Cities

A severe and extreme heatwave grips most parts of the country and the region, continuing intensely across cities and disrupting life as temperatures soar. The Met Department issued an alert and a weather warning, stating the "sun starting to rain fire". In Karachi, the temperature is expected to hit 43°C.
