Following the initial stoning ritual, pilgrims are proceeding with the remaining Hajj rites. The time for sacrifice for official pilgrims was set for 6 p.m., after which they will shave or trim their hair and remove their Ihram. Pilgrims will complete the Tawaf al-Ziyarah today or over the next two days while staying in Mina to stone all three pillars.

Most pilgrims will return to their residences in Makkah after performing the rites on the 12th of Dhul Hijjah. Return Hajj flights for Pakistan are scheduled to begin on May 31, after pilgrims perform the final obligatory farewell Tawaf.

More than 1.7 million pilgrims performed the climactic ‘stoning of the devil’ ritual in Mina on Wednesday, marking the final major rite of the annual Hajj pilgrimage. The act commemorates Prophet Ibrahim’s (AS) defiance of Satan. This followed a day of prayer atop Mount Arafat, where temperatures reached 45°C, and an overnight stay in Muzdalifah to collect pebbles for the stoning ceremony. The final day of Hajj coincides with the celebration of Eid-ul-Adha.

Among the pilgrims were several Pakistani celebrities, including legendary cricketers Wasim Akram and Misbah-ul-Haq, singer and host Fakhre Alam, and actor Bilal Abbas Khan. Fakhre Alam shared a video on social media showing the group during their time in Muzdalifah, engaged in prayer and reflection.
