Reports of Alleged Iranian Attack on Bahrain Emerge; Situation Unverified

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed responsibility for attacks on United States installations in Bahrain and Kuwait, according to a statement released by the group.

The IRGC stated that the targets were struck with missiles and drones in a joint operation by the Iranian Navy and Air and Space Force. The action was described as a response to recent US attacks on Iran.

The statement also declared the US attacks a violation of “Clause 1 of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding” and warned that all diplomatic processes would be halted. The IRGC added that a stronger response would follow any future violations and that any hostile action against Iran would receive a decisive answer.
