Prime Minister to Chair Apex Committee Meeting in Quetta

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is visiting Quetta on Tuesday for a one-day trip to preside over a session of the provincial Apex Committee and review development initiatives in Balochistan.

He is accompanied by a delegation including federal ministers and other senior government officials. The Apex Committee meeting is slated to address the overall security situation and other critical matters of governance within the province.

A key focus of the visit includes the province’s development agenda. A separate meeting was convened under the Prime Minister’s chairmanship to review projects funded by the current year’s development budget and to assess plans for the upcoming fiscal year.

During the review, the Prime Minister emphasized the prudent use of public funds. He directed that government money should only be invested in development projects that have certain and guaranteed positive outcomes for the public.
