Political Figures and Economists Discuss Upcoming Federal Budget 2026-27

Miftah Ismail stated that the upcoming budget will impose a massive tax burden on the public with no relief in sight. He criticized the government for raising taxes instead of cutting expenses. Mr. Ismail also blamed Prime Minister Shehbaz for the country’s economic crisis and asserted that Pakistan cannot progress under the PML-N and PPP. In a different statement, Saba Sadiq said the federal government is trying to give relief in the budget. Raja Pervaiz Ashraf has also made a statement regarding the Federal Budget 2026-27. The new budget is expected to include tax changes.
