PML-N Leader Nawaz Sharif to Visit Gilgit-Baltistan

PML-N Leader Nawaz Sharif is back in political activity and is scheduled to visit Gilgit-Baltistan for one day. The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has approved Nawaz Sharif’s visit. Separately, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar is actively campaigning in Gilgit-Baltistan, having arrived in Skardu for the election campaign.

Former Prime Minister and PML-N President Nawaz Sharif has arrived in Gilgit-Baltistan for a one-day visit ahead of the region’s general elections scheduled for June 7. The polls were delayed by four months due to severe winter weather.

During his visit, Sharif is scheduled to meet with party ticket holders. He is accompanied by a high-level delegation including Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal, and Inter-Provincial Coordination Minister Rana Sanaullah. The PML-N leader was welcomed by Minister for Kashmir Affairs and GB Amir Muqam and other party members.
