Marking the 28th anniversary of Youm-e-Takbeer, the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) chapter in Austria paid tribute to nuclear scientist Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, and the armed forces.

PML-N Austria President Chaudhry Ali Sharafat lauded the ‘courageous and historic’ decision made on May 28, 1998, stating that by rejecting international pressure, Pakistan became a nuclear power, ensuring its security and establishing a balance of power in the region. He also commended the current government and military leadership for maintaining the country’s defensive capabilities and strengthening its position through diplomacy and national unity.
