The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has amended its Prosumer Regulations, 2026, through S.R.O. 1320(I)/2026. Key changes include the insertion of the words “or approval” alongside “concurrence” in relevant provisions, and a new proviso added to Regulation 4 clarifying that small-scale prosumers are exempt from seeking the authority’s concurrence. Further amendments have been made in sub-regulation (4) of Regulation 4 to align terminology, and changes in the Distributed Generation Interconnection Agreement (Schedule-I) introduce the condition “if applicable.”
