Minister Blames Dollar Rate for BRT Delay, Announces Road Inauguration
Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Memon has attributed delays in Karachi’s Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Red Line project to the fluctuating dollar rate. He stated that the varying exchange rate increased the cost of construction projects, causing the setbacks. The minister also announced that the Sharea Bhutto project has now been completed. He confirmed the road will be formally inaugurated on May 22.
