Met Department Predicts Rain and Strong Winds Across Punjab and Major Cities

Light to moderate rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms is forecast for several districts across Sindh on Tuesday and Wednesday. In Punjab, most districts are expected to experience strong winds and rain until June 5, with possibilities of heavy downpours and hailstorms in some locations as a westerly weather system enters the country’s upper regions.

Meanwhile, authorities have warned of potential glacial lake outburst floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to intense heat. The Provincial Disaster Management Authority has issued an alert for Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, and Mansehra. Karachi is expected to remain partly cloudy, hot, and humid for the next three days, with maximum temperatures ranging between 35°C and 37°C.
