Massive Fire Engulfs Factory in Karachi’s Landhi Area
KARACHI: A major fire erupted at a factory located in the Landhi Export Processing Zone on Tuesday, engulfing the second and third floors of the building.
An extensive firefighting operation was launched to combat the blaze, with up to 14 fire trucks, two snorkels, and numerous water tankers dispatched to the scene. The fire raged for several hours as emergency crews worked to contain it.
Firefighters have successfully brought the flames on the second floor under control. However, efforts are still underway to completely extinguish the fire on the third floor of the factory.
