Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced land and cash assistance for unemployed youth under the ‘Apna Khet, Apna Rozgar’ scheme.

The announcement was made during a balloting ceremony for the programme on July 6. During the event, Ms. Nawaz also reportedly made a phone call to one of the unemployed youths.

Under the ‘Apna Khet, Apna Rozgar’ scheme, lucky winners selected through a ballot are reportedly being awarded 4 acres of land. The programme is aimed at providing relief and employment opportunities to farmers and unemployed youth in Punjab.
