A weak rain-bearing weather system is currently causing dusty winds across Lahore and other Punjab districts, with light rain likely in the provincial capital later in the evening, the Meteorological Department said Monday. Heavier rainfall is anticipated in the Gujranwala and Rawalpindi divisions.

The system is expected to move out of Pakistan by tonight, with hot and dry conditions forecast to return to most of the province from Tuesday. Lahore is expected to see a maximum temperature of 39°C.
