KP Governor Condemns Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s Remarks on Martyrs

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has expressed strong disapproval of Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s recent remarks concerning martyrs, describing them as regrettable. The Governor emphasized that mosques, imambargahs, and madrassas are thriving due to the sacrifices of martyrs, and labeled Maulana’s statement as anti-national.

Governor Kundi highlighted that the country’s freedom and establishment are a direct result of the martyrs’ blood. He pointed out that Pakistan is currently in a state of war against its enemies, and at such a critical juncture, the head of a political party should refrain from making such statements. The Governor urged Maulana Fazlur Rehman to apologize to the nation and the families of martyrs for his controversial remarks.
