Islamabad Court Orders Arrest of KP CM Sohail Afridi

An Islamabad local court has once again ordered the arrest of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi due to his repeated non-appearance in a case registered under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA). Civil Judge Abbas Shah, who is presiding over proceedings related to allegations that Sohail Afridi made statements against state institutions, issued the order. Despite being summoned, the chief minister did not appear before the court.
