Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed to have shot down a US MQ-9 drone and also fired upon a US F-35 fighter jet. Following the incidents, the IRGC issued a stern warning against any violation of the current ceasefire, stating it considers its right to respond “legitimate and final.”
A senior spokesperson for the Iranian armed forces, Abolfazl Shekarchi, escalated the rhetoric further, warning that any new aggression or violation would be met with a response that extends “beyond the region.”
