Five suspects, including three foreign nationals and two Pakistani citizens, have been sent on a four-day physical remand in connection with an alleged human organ trafficking case in Islamabad.

The suspects were presented before the District and Sessions Court following their arrest during a joint operation by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the Human Organ Transplant Authority (HOTA) in sector F-7.

Authorities claim the group was involved in collecting human placenta from hospitals in Peshawar, Rawalpindi, and Lahore. The material was allegedly processed and then exported under the false declaration of being sheep organs. During a raid, officials reported recovering a large quantity of human placenta in fresh, dried, and processed forms.

The court approved the physical remand to allow investigators to continue questioning the suspects and gather evidence.
