Government Reduces Petrol and High-Speed Diesel Prices

The government has provided some relief to the public by reducing the prices of petroleum products. According to a notification, the prices for both petrol and high-speed diesel have been decreased by five rupees per litre. Following the reduction, the new price for petrol is set at Rs. 400.78 per litre. The new price for high-speed diesel has been fixed at Rs. 400.58 per litre.

A formal notification has been issued by the Petroleum Division, confirming the price adjustments have taken effect across the country. Following the adjustment, the new price for petrol is set at Rs. 409.75 per litre. The new diesel price is approximately Rs. 409.78 per litre.

According to the notification issued, the new price for petrol is set at Rs. 490.78 per litre, while diesel will be sold at Rs. 490.58 per litre. The new prices went into effect at midnight.
