Gold Prices Tumble by Rs 2,400 Per Tola in Pakistan

KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan registered a significant decline on Tuesday, tracking a downturn in the international market.

The price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs 2,400 per tola, settling at Rs 475,362. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs 2,057 to Rs 407,546.

The local drop was attributed to a fall in the global bullion market, where the price of gold per ounce declined by $24 to $4,530.

Silver prices also saw a decrease. The domestic price of silver per tola fell by Rs 153 to Rs 8,117, while the international price dropped by $1.53 to $76.33 per ounce.
