Gold prices in Pakistan recovered on Thursday, a day after experiencing a significant drop. The price of gold per tola rose by Rs 1,523 to reach Rs 469,285, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association. The price of 10-gram gold also increased by Rs 1,305 to Rs 402,335.

The local market’s rebound followed a gain in the international market, where gold rose by $14 to $4,468 per ounce. In contrast, the domestic price of silver continued to fall, decreasing by Rs 97 to Rs 7,797 per tola.

Following a significant drop of Rs 8,600 in the previous session, the price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan stood at Rs 467,762 per tola on Thursday. The price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold was recorded at Rs 401,030 after it fell by Rs 7,373.

The price adjustments in the domestic market reflect trends in the international bullion market, where gold was trading at $4,454 per ounce. Meanwhile, the price of silver also decreased by Rs 259, with the new rate standing at Rs 7,894 per tola.
