Gold Price in Pakistan Drops by Rs 1,100 Per Tola

The price of gold in Pakistan decreased on Saturday, with the rate for one tola falling by Rs 1,100.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJA), the new price for one tola of gold is Rs 439,836. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold declined by Rs 943 to Rs 377,088.

The drop in domestic prices follows a downward trend in the international market, where the price of the precious metal fell by $11 per ounce to $4,174.

Bullion traders noted that gold prices in Pakistan are influenced by both the international market and the exchange rate of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar. Despite the recent decrease, experts suggest that prices are likely to remain volatile in the coming weeks due to ongoing economic uncertainty.
