The PML-N held a power show in Gilgit, where a strong verbal attack was launched against the PPP and PTI. During his Gilgit-Baltistan election campaign addresses in Gilgit and Skardu, Khawaja Saad Rafique urged for a unified master plan for Gilgit Baltistan and called for support for the PML-N. Rana Sanaullah confirmed that PML-N candidates are contesting in 22 of 24 GB constituencies. Captain Safdar mocked “Roti, Kapra Aur Makaan,” eliciting a strong reaction from the PPP, with Arsalan Sheikh slamming Captain Safdar. Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has promised to secure land ownership rights for the people of Gilgit-Baltistan, stating that legislation has already been passed by the regional assembly to convert 28,000 square miles of government land into common land. He urged voters to provide the PPP with a “heavy mandate” in the upcoming elections to ensure the law’s implementation, warning that other parties might repeal it.

In addition to constitutional protections, the PPP chairman pledged to unlock the region’s economic potential by improving digital infrastructure. He proposed seeking assistance from China for optical fibre connectivity or from the United States for satellite-based Starlink internet services. He also promised to initiate public-private partnership projects for health and housing.
