Chief of Defense Forces (CDF) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has explicitly blamed “Indian-sponsored Fitna-al-Hindustan and its proxies” for the recent suicide bombing in Quetta. Speaking during his Eid-ul-Adha visit with frontline troops in Zhob district, the CDF stated the “cowardly terrorist incident” could not weaken the resolve of Pakistan’s armed forces or the nation.
The military’s media wing reported that the CDF’s visit on Wednesday began with Eid prayers and special supplications for the country’s peace and stability. He also laid a floral wreath at the Yadgar-e-Shuhada to pay homage to fallen soldiers and was received by the Commander Quetta Corps upon his arrival.
