In addition to previously reported closures, the list of sealed properties now includes the NIC Building, Crown Plaza, Khudadad Heights Plaza, and the Envoy Continental Hotel. The action was taken for non-compliance with fire and life safety requirements.

As part of its intensified crackdown, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has imposed fines of Rs 500,000 each on the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Polyclinic, and its own Capital Hospital for non-compliance with fire safety regulations. In addition to previously reported sealings, the Beverly Centre in Blue Area was also sealed, and two hotels in the same area were partially sealed, preventing them from accepting new guests. An official stated that teams were also moving to seal an apartment building in F-11 owned by a politician for similar violations. The National Insurance Company Limited building was also reported to be under inspection.

The Capital Development Authority's intensified campaign follows an earlier survey of approximately 6,500 buildings across the capital, which reportedly found widespread gaps in fire safety measures.
