Prices for sacrificial animals have increased at cattle markets ahead of Eid-ul-Adha 2026, with a massive hike reported at the Karachi Mandi. In Lahore’s cattle market, a bull named ‘Rustam e Pakistan’ is priced at 1.5 crore. A goat in the Karachi cattle market is priced at 3.5 lakh. In contrast, animal rates have dropped in the Peshawar Mandi, where cheap animals are available. Updates on market preparations for Eid are also being reported from the Maweshi Mandi in Quetta.
