Budget 2026-27: New Taxes and Excise Duties on Vehicles

The Finance Minister announced a new excise duty on EVs and petrol vehicles in Budget 2026-27. The government plans a new carbon tax on petrol and diesel vehicles. Budget 2026-27 also includes a big decision on import duty affecting car prices in Pakistan. Additionally, the budget incorporates a withholding tax on international transactions on credit/debit cards.
