On Thursday, June 25, processions were held in Lahore to observe Ashura, the 10th day of Muharram.

The city’s main procession set out from Sharr Haveli. Separately, a Shabihe Zuljanah procession concluded at Pando Street, and another procession was reported in the Thokar Niaz Baig area.

In Lahore, the main Ashura procession is scheduled to commence from Nisar Haveli at Mochi Gate, according to the latest updates on Thursday.

As part of the Ashura commemorations in Lahore on Thursday, the Azan-e-Ali Akbar was observed at Mochi Gate in the Mohalla Shia Kashmiria area.
