An Airport Security Force (ASF) official died on Friday after sustaining a gunshot wound at Islamabad International Airport. The official, identified as Zeeshan Akhtar, was on duty at tower number 4 when the incident occurred.

Available reports say the gunshot was fired from his own official weapon. He was seriously injured and transported to a hospital for treatment, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
