US President Donald Trump has issued a new threat to Iran, warning of severe consequences and stating that time for Tehran to make a decision is rapidly diminishing.
In a statement posted on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump declared that time was running out for the Iranian leadership. “They must move forward immediately, or nothing will be left for them,” he wrote, adding that “time is of the essence.”
Trump urged Iran to negotiate a deal with the United States, framing it as their only favorable option. He warned that if an agreement is not reached soon, Iran will face “very bad circumstances.” He emphasized that a deal would be beneficial for the country, cautioning that without one, “Iran will go through a very difficult time.”
This recent post follows a previous, more cryptic message on social media, in which Trump shared an image of himself aboard a naval vessel with a US military officer. In the background, a military boat bearing an Iranian flag was visible. The image was accompanied by the caption, “The calm before the storm,” which was widely interpreted as a threat directed at Iran.
