Xi Jinping warns of global instability, urges Middle East ceasefire
Chinese President Xi Jinping, in a speech, called the current global situation complex and unstable. He warned that the world faces a return of the “law of the jungle”. The Chinese President also issued an urgent call for an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire in the Middle East.

President Putin received a grand welcome at the Great Hall of the People before the talks.
