Police Uncover International Drug Network Run by “Pinky”

Police have dismantled a major international drug network allegedly operated by a woman identified as Anmol, also known as “Pinky.” According to Karachi Police Chief Azad Khan, the network’s operations extend to Lahore and involve several African nationals. Pinky was arrested in Karachi while in possession of a large quantity of cocaine. A subsequent raid on her flat uncovered an additional stash of drugs. From a recovered phone containing 800 contacts, investigators are now tracing a wider network estimated to include over 300 individuals. Authorities have also identified financial transactions worth Rs. 5 crore in a single bank account connected to the operation. Key alleged associates, including Rana Nasir, Rana Akram, and Pinky’s brother, Shakir, are being placed on the Exit Control List (ECL) to prevent them from fleeing the country. The case has also been a subject of debate in the Sindh Assembly.
