The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has issued a detailed forecast for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, predicting widespread rain-wind/thundershowers with isolated heavy downpours through Wednesday, with occasional breaks. The forecast applies to Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Malakand, Shangla, Battagram, Buner, Khyber, Bajaur, Mohmand, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Mardan, Swabi, Nowshera, Peshawar, Hangu, Orakzai, Karak, Kurram, and Kohat.
Daytime temperatures in Peshawar are expected to remain between 34°C and 36°C on Tuesday and 35°C to 37°C on Wednesday. Over the last 24 hours, rainfall was recorded in Kakul (16mm), Malam Jabba (4mm), and Balakot (3mm).
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has expanded its weather warnings as monsoon rains are forecast to continue for the next two days with occasional breaks.
