Amid ongoing monsoon rains, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed the NDMA to step up relief efforts in flood-hit regions of Pakistan. The NDMA reported that 155 people have died in rain-related incidents since June 26. Relief operations are currently underway in parts of KP, Gilgit-Baltistan, and AJK, with further flooding forecast for nullahs linked to the Chenab and Ravi rivers.
