On the occasion of the 250th Anniversary of American Independence on July 4, 2026, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with the United States. In a message posted on the social media platform X, the prime minister extended felicitations to US President Donald J. Trump and the American people.

PM Shehbaz stated that Pakistan is dedicated to a partnership based on mutual respect, shared interests, and constructive engagement. He highlighted the more than seven-decade history of relations between the two nations, strengthened by the contributions of the Pakistani-American community.
