Ashura processions underway in Karachi, Sahiwal, Muzaffargarh and Jhang

Mourning processions to observe Youm-e-Ashura are being held in several cities across Pakistan on Friday.

In Karachi, the central Ashura procession was reported to be nearing its conclusion. The central procession in Sahiwal set off from Qasr-e-Batool at Jogi Chowk, while the main rally in Muzaffargarh is proceeding along its traditional routes.

In Jhang, mourners were participating in the ‘ziarat’ (viewing) of Tazias at Block Shah.
