In the federal capital, Islamabad, police remained active on the second day of Eid to ensure the safety of citizens. Inspector General Ali Nasir Rizvi is personally supervising the security arrangements.

Special security measures have been implemented at recreational spots across the city. Police officials stated that patrolling units are actively monitoring these areas and major highways, with senior officers present in the field to inspect duty points.

The Meteorological Department has issued a heatwave warning for most of the country on the second day of Eid al-Adha, forecasting severe hot and dry weather. Temperatures in many cities could be up to six degrees higher than normal.

In the last 24 hours, Turbat and Bahawalnagar recorded temperatures of 48 degrees Celsius, while Sibi, Dadu, Larkana, and Mohenjo-daro reached 47 degrees. Citizens have been advised to take precautionary measures and avoid unnecessary sun exposure. Meanwhile, rain with strong winds and thunderstorms is possible in a few places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, northeastern Punjab, and the Potohar region.
